Senior Special Advisor Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Special Advisor for the Department of National Defence (DND) with Security clearance of Secret.

1. The proposed resource must have a minimum of (48) months of relevant experience.

2. The proposed resource has a minimum of (5) years within the last (10) experience in the following;

Providing sustainment advice on a strategic level(s) on joint plans and documents beyond EX-01/Colonel-level, to the Director General or Assistant Deputy Minister/CAF Level 1 Commander level.

*Sustainment advice is defined as advice related to any of the five following CAF joint enabling capabilities: Joint Logistics, Health Services, General Support Engineers, Military Police, and Joint Equipment Management Systems/Royal Canadian Electrical Mechanical Engineers. At the strategic and operational level, this advice normally comes from a Director General Support or their representative.

3. The proposed resource has a minimum of (5) years within the last (10) experience in the following;

Working on digital modernization initiatives or digital projects related Pan Domain Command and Control (PDC2) or Sustainment.

*DND/CAF Sustainment digital systems are generally SAP and Oracle-based Enterprise Resource Planning Systems.
