Windows Support Engineer Full Time NEW

We are looking for a Windows Support Engineer for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English.
• Security Clearance: Secret.
• Location of Work: Hybrid at Ottawa (required 12 days on-site per month).
• Mandatory requirements:
  • Must have a university degree or college diploma in computer science, information technology or a related field
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant work experience with supporting critical applications in a hybrid environment
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of recent demonstrated experience in Windows Server systems, with solid abilities in administering Microsoft Group Policies and Microsoft SCCM
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of recent demonstrated experience in performance and capacity monitoring for critical servers
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of recent demonstrated ability to develop and support Infrastructure as Code (IAC) with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Azure, etc.
  • Must have a demonstrated experience with the maintenance and upgrading of Windows 2016 – Windows 2022 Server Environments
  • Must have a demonstrated advanced understanding of Windows server support
  • Must have a demonstrated knowledge of a scripting language, such as Ansible playbooks, PowerShell or Python
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to create automation scripts, deploy orchestration and automation processes and products
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to make technical decisions needed to support a multi-tiered large-scale highly isolated production environment
  • Must have a demonstrated experience applying a product and service-oriented mindset, including end-to-end ownership and accountability for resolution
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to rank tasks per priority, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks concurrently
