Senior Business Consultant Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Business Consultant for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: Bilingual – English & French
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Location of Work: The Contractor’s resource must perform work at the Contractor’s premises. When the Project Authority determines the contractor’s resource(s) must perform work on site due to operational and/or administrative requirements, the work location is at 90 Sparks Street, Ottawa Ontario.

Mandatory requirements:

• The Bidder must submit detailed CV for the proposed resource demonstrating that they meet the minimum mandatory requirements (educational, professional designations and work experience), as per the flexible grids, for the following resource category: 2.3 Business Consultant Senior
• The Bidder must submit a detailed CV demonstrating that the proposed resource has a minimum of six (6) years’ experience within the past ten (10) years of the following activities:
  • Advising senior management
  • Conducting organizational analyses
  • Developing strategic improvement plans in a Government of Canada

Other Skills required:

• The Bidder’s proposed resource should have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
  • A thorough understanding of senior finance functions, including financial policy development, and oversight of financial governance frameworks.
  • A thorough understanding and experience providing strategic advice and implementation of investment planning process
  • Providing strategic advice and challenge function to senior leadership.
  • Proven experience working and developing relationships at a senior level across central agencies.
  • Examining the link between the goals of the organization and how the work is performed to achieve those objectives at strategic and operational levels.
• The Bidder must provide three (3) project descriptions to support where such experience was obtained. The following details must be provided for each of the projects submitted:
  • Name and description of client organization;
  • Timeframe (from-to dates month/year);
  • Description of the roles and responsibilities for each project;
  • Detailed example(s) demonstrating the relevant experience;
  • Reference (Name, phone number and email address) for each project.

* References will only be contacted to confirm the information, the tasks completed, type and timelines. If more than three (3) projects are included in the proposal, then only the first three (3) projects listed will be evaluated.
