Senior Special Advisor Full Time NEW

We are looking for a Senior Special Advisor for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Location of Work: Onsite – Carling Campus, 60 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

Mandatory requirements:

• Education:
  • Secondary school diploma and
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field from a recognized Canadian* post-secondary institution, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
• Experience: 48 months relevant experience.
• The proposed resource must demonstrate that they have experience with 3 *large projects for **complex organization within the Federal Government in last 10 years, where they provided expert advisory services in the areas of design thinking, user experience research, and user experience design.

*Large project is defined as multi-million project budget, multi-disciplinary team involvement and was impacted by policy or legislation.

**Complex Organization is a minimum of 2000+ employees and has impacts across multiple regions in Canada.

***For projects to qualify they must be minimum of 6 months, and a description of role performed for the project, and minimum of two 2 examples per project of the specific steps taken within advisory work in relation to design thinking, user experience research, and user experience design.

• The proposed resource must have 5 years’ experience within the last 7 years’, leading at least 3 large digital business transformation projects for complex organizations as the lead user experience designer performing research methodologies.

*Large project is defined as multi-million project budget, multi-disciplinary team involvement and was impacted by policy or legislation.

**Complex Organization is a minimum of 2000 employees and has impacts across multiple regions in Canada.

***Identification of user experience research methodologies conducted, and services design artifact produced per project is required.

• The proposed resource must have 5 years out of the past 7 developing strategies, service blueprints and implementation plans for teams leading the design of digital solutions in adopting user experience research and design.

*Digital solutions for this evaluation are solutions deployed into production and have at least 2000+ users.

**It is required to articulate the size of the team and details of the strategy, service blueprint produced, and implementation plan.

*** Within timeframe above must demonstrate minimum of 3 project examples, developing and presenting strategies in adopting user experience research and design to senior officials.
