Senior System Administrator Full Time NEW

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Location of Work: Hybrid – MCE (101 Goldenrod Driveway, Ottawa, ON)

Mandatory requirements:

• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource possesses a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering obtained from a recognized Canadian university or college or the equivalent as established by a recognized Canadian academic credentials assessment service, if obtained outside Canada.
• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in the past fifteen (15) years as a System Administrator.
• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the past fifteen (15) years installing, configuring and administering:
  • Virtualization environments;
  • Operating systems;
  • Database server software;
  • Exchange mail server applications; and
  • GIS enterprise applications.
• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the past fifteen (15) years deploying, configuring, testing and administering data centre hardware including:
  • Dell storage solutions;
  • HPe Proliant servers;
  • HPE Synergy servers;
  • Isilon storage; and
  • Cisco & Arista switches, routers, and firewalls.
• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the past fifteen (15) years setting up and administering Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and creating AD Group Policies (GPO’s).
• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has completed two (2) projects in the last ten (10) years that clearly demonstrates the implementation of virtual server solutions in a large government and/or private industry enterprise environment.
• The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has completed one (1) project in the past five (5) years that clearly demonstrates the implementation of an enterprise IT solution in a large government and/or private industry enterprise environment.
