Senior Operations Support Specialist Full Time NEW

We are looking for a Senior Operations Support Specialist for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English

• Security Clearance: Reliability

• Location of Work: On-site at DND facilities within NCR

• Mandatory requirements:
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing providing system administration support within a networked environment involving both Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems and supporting local and remote users.
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing in the integration and configuration of Commercial and/or Government Off-the-Shelf (COTS/GOTS) modelling and simulation tool sets such as one of the following or an equivalent tool set:
    • XCITE
    • AWSIM
    • NGTS
    • JSAF
    • MaK One World Suite
    • VBS
    • Presagis Simulation Suite
    • MetaVR
    • Plexsys ASCOT
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing in the configuration and operation of network data filters.
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing in the configuration and operation of gateway solutions to connect remote systems to a common network architecture.
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing in the configuration and support of command and control (C2) software components such as Battle Control System – Fixed (BCS-F) and NATO Integrated Command and Control (ICC) or an equivalent C2 system in a simulation system.
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing in the configuration and operation of COTS/GOTS communications tools, including voice and data protocols and components.
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the last fifteen (15) years from date of bid closing in the configuration and installation of synthetic environment components such as entity models and terrain databases systems.
  • The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has provided technical support to a minimum of four (4) Distributed Synthetic Operations events in the last three (3) years from date of bid closing.
