We are looking for a Senior Computer Application Support for our client who meets the following criteria:
- Language: English.
- Security Clearance: Seret.
- Location of Work: On-site at NDHQ Pearkes, 101 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, ON
- Mandatory requirements:
- Must have a certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science or other relevant field from a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
- Must have a 24 months relevant experience.
- Must demonstrate a minimum of six (6) years, of combined training and progressive hands-on experience in cybersecurity and vulnerability management, including significant experience with Tenable Nessus platforms within an enterprise vulnerability management program.
- Must demonstrate a minimum of six (6) years, of combined training and progressive hands-on experience in the analysis of complex cybersecurity issues. This includes:
- 1) the ability to design and improve vulnerability management solutions and provide expert-level technical advice within enterprise security environments.
- 2) investigating and resolving complex, non-standard security vulnerabilities and system issues;
- 3) translating vulnerability findings into actionable, risk-based remediation plans aligned with recognized security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, DoD, FedRAMP); and,
- 4) designing, enhancing, or optimizing vulnerability management processes, scanning strategies, and tool configurations to improve detection coverage, reduce false positives, and increase overall scan fidelity.
- 5) Experience collaborating with security operations, infrastructure, and application teams to coordinate and drive remediation efforts is required.
- 6) Experience providing technical mentoring and guidance to junior analysts and engineers, while maintaining current knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and evolving cybersecurity best practices.
