Senior Computer Application Support Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Computer Application Support for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Location of Work: Onsite – Carling Campus, 60 Moodie Drive, Ottawa, ON

Mandatory requirements:

• Education – Certificate, diploma, or degree in computer science or other relevant field from a recognized Canadian* post-secondary institution.
• Experience – 24 months relevant experience.
• The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource possesses at least 5 years of experience in the last 7 years providing Computer Application Support in the area of Cloud Services, with two of three of the following certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
  • AWS Certified Security Specialty
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• The Bidder must clearly demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of 2 years of experience within the last 5 years working on AWS Cloud projects with a large Public Sector organization of at least 5,000+ employees, performing all the following tasks:
  • Hands-on development and modernization of AWS Landing Zones using AWS Control Tower or Landing Zone Accelerator, including multi-account setup and security automation.
  • Conduct architecture, design, and deployment of secure AWS environments applying ITSG-33 security controls to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) for Protected B workloads.
  • Engineering connectivity patterns between on-premises infrastructure and AWS cloud using AWS Direct Connect and secure networking practices.
  • Designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Privileged Access Management, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Just-in-Time access for administrative accounts.
  • Developing technical architecture for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS AWS services, including containerized workloads using EKS/ECS/Fargate.
  • Supporting Workload Migration (WLM) strategies and refactoring applications to be AWS-native.
