Senior Business Analyst Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English
• Security Clearance: Any Level
• Location of Work: Onsite – Edward Drake Building, Ottawa, Ontario

Mandatory requirements:

• The Bidder’s proposed resource must:
  • Hold a university degree at the Bachelor level in Business Administration or Public Administration; and Have a minimum of 120 months experience fulfilling the role of a Business Analyst in the field of Information Management or Information Technology within the last 180 months. OR
  • Hold a university Certification or Community College Diploma in Business Administration or Public Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology, or any other University Degree not listed in paragraph 1; and Have a minimum of 144 months experience fulfilling the role of a Business Analyst in the field of Information Management or Information Technology within the last 180 months. OR
  • Have a minimum of 180 months experience fulfilling the role of a Business Analyst in the field of Information Management or Information Technology within the last 240 months.
• The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of 120 months of experience within the last 180 months providing Information Management (IM) and/or Information Technology (IT) business and/or technical analysis and recommendations as well as advice and guidance to project stakeholder. Within the 120 months of experience, the resource must demonstrate having produced at least 5 of the following project documentation/artefacts:
  • Strategic Analyses
  • Business Cases
  • Responsibility and Accountability Matrices (RASI)
  • Requirements Matrices
  • Implementation Strategies
  • Governance Plans
  • Business Process Maps
  • Data Models
  • Data Dictionaries
  • Use Cases and/or Agile Stories
  • Feasibility Studies
  • Detailed Design and System Requirements documentation
• The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of 120 months of experience within the last 180 months eliciting, defining, and documenting business requirements for IM/IT projects, including security requirements.
• The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of 120 months of experience within the last 180 months conducting client studies, interviews, and research to identify the best practices and improved processes to ensure successful implementation of IM and/or IT projects.
• The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of 120 months of experience within the last 180 months developing user training manuals, transition documents, standard operational procedures (SOPs), or a combination thereof.
• The Bidder’s proposed resource must have a minimum of 120 months of experience within the last 180 months with stakeholder management, demonstrating experience with at least 5 out of the 7 tasks listed below:
  • Performing stakeholder analyses
  • Facilitating requirements gathering
  • Facilitating sessions with stakeholders
  • Producing communication plans
  • Facilitating one-on-one meetings
  • Leading training
  • Participating in transitioning activities/materials to stakeholders, including operations and associated change management
