Programmer/Software Developer – Level 2

We are looking for a Programmer/Software Developer for Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission with a Security Clearance level of Reliability

1.The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource meets the minimum TBIPS requirement for level 2 A.6 Programmer/Software Developer

2. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least 5 years of software development and coding experience using C# within the past 10 years, at the time of RFP closing.

3. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least 5 years experience in one or in combination of the following:
I. Commercial software product development
II. Cloud software application development for business use based on commercial cloud PaaS
III. Core business operations application development.
Note: for III., the following applies:
o Custom of the Shelf (COTS) experience does not qualify.
o Single individual developed applications does not qualify.
o Applications developed in less than 6 months does not qualify.

4. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least 2 years microservices development experience as the primary or senior developer.

5. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least 5 years development practice experience based on formal software design patterns, specifications with contracts (e.g.: an API contract) as input.
Note: Development experience using business requirements will not be accepted.

6. The Bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has at least 1 year* development experience with one or more of the following:
• Messaging Bus (Azure Service bus)
• Serverless computing (Azure Functions)
• Multi-model Database (Azure Cosmos)
* Combined experience will be accepted (e.g.: 6 months on Azure Service Bus, 6 months on Azure Cosmos)
