IT Security Design Specialist – Level 3 (Won Contract) Full Time

We are seeking an IT Security Design Specialist – Level 3 for one of our awarded contracts with a government client. The position offers a rate of $900/day, and the candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Language: English
  • Security Clearance: Reliability
  • Location of Work: Remote
  • Mandatory requirements:
    • The bidder must demonstrate through one or more projects that the proposed Level 3 Information Technology Security Design Specialist has at least ten (10) years of relevant experience within the last fifteen (15) years performing tasks such as reviewing, analyzing, and applying security architecture frameworks; designing and implementing secure IT architectures; integrating and managing diverse security technologies and protocols; conducting risk and compliance assessments; preparing technical reports; providing advisory support; and developing and delivering security training materials.
    • The bidder must demonstrate through project descriptions that the proposed Level 3 resource has, within the last seven (7) years, successfully completed five (5) projects—each with a minimum duration of six (6) consecutive months, or one (1) project of at least four (4) consecutive months if involving emerging technologies—showcasing demonstrated experience with the technologies, software, tools, techniques, and organizations identified as essential.
    • The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource must hold a university degree or college/CEGEP diploma in computer science, information technology, or engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution, with a copy of the credential provided, and equivalency documentation required for non-Canadian education.
    • The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed Information Technology Security Design Specialist (Level 3) must possess valid professional certification(s) demonstrating expertise in IT security architecture and design, with certifications such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) considered acceptable
