Information Technology Security Engineer – Level 3 Full Time NEW

We are looking for an Information Technology Security Engineer – Level 3 for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English

• Security Clearance: Secret and NATO Secret

• Location of Work: On-site, 60 Moodie Drive (Carling Campus), Ottawa

• Mandatory requirements:
  • The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience, within the past fifteen (15) years, in a similar IM/IT environment as an IT Security Engineer.
  • The bidder must must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience developing at least three (3) of the following types of System Engineering documentation:
    • System Design Specifications;
    • Build / Configuration Documents;
    • Concept of Operations (ConOps);
    • System Implementation Plans;
    • Test Plans and Test Reports; and
    • Life Cycles Support Plans.
  • The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of ten (10) years of experience within the past fifteen (15) years, in a similar IM/IT environment, working on the design, development, and implementation of IT security applications and infrastructure in at least three (3) of the following areas:
    • Network Access Control;
    • Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems;
    • Network Monitoring and Logging;
    • Secure Network Architecture;
    • Cryptography and Data Protection;
    • Wireless Network Security; and
    • Compliance with Security Policies.
  • The bidder must demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of four (4) years of experience, within the past ten (10) years, in the planning, implementation, or in-service support of Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), Secure Tailored Solutions (STS), or Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
