Senior Computer Application Support Full Time

We are looking for a Senior Computer Application Support for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English
• Security Clearance: Secret
• Location of Work: Onsite – 295 Coventry Rd, Ottawa, ON

Mandatory requirements:

• Education:
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in a relevant field from a recognized Canadian* post-secondary institution.
• Experience: 24 months relevant experience.
• The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years administering and supporting enterprise Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange environments with a minimal size of 40,000 users.

The experience must include at least four (4) of the following:

• Exchange Online administration;
• Exchange Server administration;
• Hybrid Exchange configuration;
• Mail flow and transport configuration;
• Identity or directory integration;
• Email security configuration;
• Troubleshooting messaging incidents or service degradation; and
• Implementing approved Exchange or Microsoft 365 service changes.

• The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years configuring, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure infrastructure services.

The experience must include at least four (4) of the following:

• Azure virtual networks and subnets;
• Network Security Groups;
• Azure virtual machines;
• Azure Storage;
• private endpoints or Private Link;
• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or alerting;
• Azure Policy;
• Conditional Access Policies;
• Azure Backup or recovery services; and
• role-based access control for Azure resources.

• The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years administering Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory, and on-premises Active Directory Domain Services in a hybrid identity environment.

The experience must include all of the following:

• Microsoft Entra Connect Sync, Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync, or Azure AD Connect;
• authentication and identity synchronization;
• role-based access control;
• Conditional Access; and
• Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management or an equivalent just-in-time privileged-access capability.

• The proposed resource must demonstrate a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years developing and using scripts or functions to automate the administration, configuration, monitoring, or reporting of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, or Microsoft Exchange infrastructure services.

The substantiation must include at least two (2) examples of automation developed or substantially modified by the proposed resource.

• The proposed resource must demonstrate experience, within the last five (5) years, providing operational support for at least two (2) enterprise Microsoft infrastructure environments.

The experience must include all of the following:

• monitoring service availability, performance, security, or operational health;
• investigating and resolving complex incidents or service degradation;
• implementing changes through an established change-management process;
• identifying technical risks or configuration deficiencies; and
• developing or updating operational documentation following implementation or incident resolution.

Each environment cited must have been supported by the proposed resource for a minimum period of six (6) months.

• The proposed resource must hold at least two (2) active Microsoft certifications from the following list, or their Microsoft-authorized successor certifications:
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate;
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert;
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate;
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert;
  • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert; or
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate

The Bidder must provide copies or verifiable Microsoft certification transcripts demonstrating that the certifications are active as of the solicitation closing date.
