Project Management Specialist Full Time NEW

We are looking for a Project Management Specialist for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: Bilingual (English & French).
• Security Clearance: Reliability.
• Location of Work: Hybrid (required 12 days on-site per month).
• Mandatory requirements:
  • Must have a university degree or college diploma in policy, public administration, economics, business or a related field
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of recent, demonstrated work experience in project management, including managing non-IT related projects
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of recent, demonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives with evolving scope while maintaining continuity, including documenting and managing changes to scope and deliverables.
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies, governance best practice and change control processes, with the ability to apply them effectively to support successful project delivery
  • Must have demonstrated ability to design and implement project governance structures
  • Must have demonstrated strong judgment in identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and escalating risk and issues to support effective decision-making and timely resolution
  • Must have demonstrated ability to build and maintain credibly, effective relationships with senior subject-matter experts and stakeholders, fostering alignment, accountability, and timely achievement of project objectives
  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse stakeholder groups, particularly in governance and senior-level contexts
  • Must have demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary environments involving research, policy, operations, technology, and external stakeholders
  • Must have demonstrated experience stabilizing, recovering, and successfully delivering in-flight projects by addressing governance gaps, resolving issues, realigning stakeholders, and re-establishing clear delivery plans and accountabilities
