Junior Procurement Full Time

We are looking for Junior Procurement for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English
• Security Clearance: Reliability
• Location of Work: Onsite – 45 Bd Sacré-Coeur, Gatineau, QC

Mandatory requirements:

• Education: – Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant work experience.
• Experience: 6 months experience in the procurement field.
  • Assisting in the preparation of complex bid documents, including Requests for Supply Arrangements, Standing Offers and Proposals
  • Preparing basic bid documents, including Invitations to Tender and Requests for Quotations
  • Purchasing with the SAP (Systems, Applications and Products) procurement program
  • Negotiating price and delivery
  • Advising senior personnel on vendor performance issues
  • Assisting in the negotiation of solutions with contractors to obtain compliance
• Must clearly demonstrate 6 months of experience with >$25k procurement within the past 5 years.
• Must clearly demonstrate 1 year’s experience with Materiel Management within the past 5 years.
• The bidder’s proposed resources must have 6 months of experience with IT Hardware & Software procurement and materiel management.
• The bidder’s proposed resources must be capable of lifting up to 45 lbs.
• The bidder’s proposed resource must have 6 months of experience working in a warehouse environment.
