Statistical Analyst (Data Scientist) for Alteryx/data science-related activities – Senior Full Time

We are looking for a Statistical Analyst (Data Scientist) for Alteryx/data science-related activities – Senior for the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) with a Security Clearance level of Reliability.

1. The proposed resources each meet the minimum mandatory requirements of their proposed level as defined by the TSPS Business Consulting/Change Management stream flex grid.

2. The proposed Level 3 – Data Scientists, Senior (Statistical Analyst) have experience on four (4) projects for a period of one (1) year of experience within the last twelve (12) years performing the items listed below within the Canadian Federal or Provincial Governments or large corporation:
a. Translate departmental issues and business needs into reporting requirements in order to develop and design solutions;
b. Architect relationships between economic, geospatial, or geoscientific data;
c. Develop queries to isolate data within a data warehouse or data lake;
d. Mentoring other data scientists in the design, implementation, testing, prototyping, and deploying of data analytic solutions.
e. Determining problematic issues with data and presenting those findings to stakeholders to drive improvements from concept through to delivery;
f. Develop and deploy solutions that include data aggregation challenges, including data being distributed across numerous databases or sources;
g. Build tools and supporting data structures needed to analyze data and perform data cleaning activities; and
h. Perform exploratory data analysis, rapid prototyping and presenting creative ideas to exploit data to drive

3. Proposed Resources must hold a valid Security Clearance at the level of Reliability by the Canadian Security Directorate (CISD) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC).
