Project Manager for Export Development Canada Full Time

We are looking for a Project Manager for Export Development Canada with a Security Clearance Level of Reliability.

Description of Service

Provide PM capabilities to the CEBA program including, but not limited to, the areas of integration, contract management and build of collections capabilities within EDC.  This role requires high collaboration between 3rd party vendors and internal and external stakeholders to implement and operationalize the CEBA program collections capabilities.

 Primary Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage service delivery through acquisition, operation and delivery.
• Support contract management activities such as development of scope content and contract documentation
• Oversee the adherence to contract outcomes
• Effectively communicate delivery expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Plan, schedule and track project timelines, deliverables and milestones using appropriate tools.  Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team including 3^rd party vendors.
• Proactively manage changes in project delivery, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

Specific Project Requirements

 The CEBA program delivers primarily through 3rd parties which requires significant project oversight, planning, contracting and monitoring of vendor performance to achieve its deliverables and business outcomes.  As such the PM must have experience collaborating with and overseeing 3rd party services.  In addition, the CEBA program also needs to broker services from other external and internal stakeholders for services which will require strong collaboration, integrated planning, dependency management and influencing skills.
