Platform Analyst – Level 2 Full Time

We are looking for a Platform Analyst – Level 2 for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English.
• Security Clearance: Secret.
• Location of Work: Remote.
• Mandatory requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related Engineering or Science stream OR a postgraduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or a related Engineering or Science stream.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last four (4) years, at the time of bid closing in a Department of National Defence (DND) OR National Security domain, performing all the following:
    • Advising on policies to align data governance frameworks, data security policies, and data protection regulations;
    • Leading the design, development, and testing of data storage on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms;
    • Creating and deploying Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) or Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) jobs using AWS Glue;
    • Provisioning, configuring, and managing AWS resources using Athena, Glue, Relational Database Service (RDS), Redshift, Cloud Formation, Lambda, and Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) to ensure a scalable, secure, and cost-effective environment.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years at the time of bid closing, performing all of the following:
    • Managing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of code affecting a data pipeline;
    • Setting up and monitoring data pipeline health;
    • Conducting root cause analysis and troubleshooting pipeline health errors;
    • Implementing systems for anomaly detection within the cloud infrastructure by analyzing logs, normalizing data, and detecting unusual patterns or potential security threats;
    • Managing data infrastructure, including Application Programming Interface (API) gateways, machine-to-machine (M2M) connections, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC);
    • Ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based applications and data by implementing best cloud security practices;
    • Managing identity and access management (IAM) roles and policies to enforce security and compliance.
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years at the time of bid closing in all of the following:
    • Architecting, developing, and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) data solutions on cloud platforms;
    • Designing and managing cloud-based data pipelines to support data ingestion and transformation processes;
    • Architecting and managing cloud-based data storage solutions for secure and efficient data storage and retrieval;
    • Developing custom data observability solutions;
    • Automating build, test, deployment processes;
    • Monitoring cloud service instances and services for performance and cost optimization; and
    • Implementing automated infrastructure capabilities including backups, security tools, and monitoring.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience within the last four (4) years at the time of bid closing in all of the following:
    • Developing and deploying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) Minimum Viable Product, including data preparation, model training, evaluation, and deployment, with expertise in any two of the following 4 areas:
      • predictive analytics;
      • computer vision;
      • anomaly detection; or,
      • natural language processing (NLP).
    • Leveraging cloud-native tools and Machine Learning (ML) Operations to deliver scalable, reproducible solutions aligned with business objectives;
    • Deploying solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn in cloud-based AI/ML platforms
