We are looking for an Intermediate Administrative Assistant, General for our client who meets the following criteria:
Language: Bilingual -French + English
Security Clearance: DOS-Reliability
Location of Work: On-site, Carling Campus, 60 Moodie Drive, Nepean, ON. Building 7N.2
Mandatory requirements:
The bidder must clearly demonstrate 1 years’ experience within the past 3 years in a role that is related to Administrative Assistance or Executive Assistance in a Government of Canada or Department of National Defense environment.
The bidder must have a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant work experience.
The bidder must have 12 months’ relevant experience. Typical duties in addition to those listed under Clerk, general may include:
Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, reports, statements and other documents
Maintaining office supplies inventory
Processing of applications and forms
Maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and inventory information
Inputting and updating changes to meeting and appointment schedules
Arranging for telephones, e-mail accounts and equipment for new personnel
Answering queries from the general public
Using electronic reference tools for the purposes of researching and resolving client inquiries
Assembling and disseminating correspondence and briefing materials
Maintaining office equipment and arranging for service
Completing courier forms and dispatching couriers and
Processing and tracking correspondence (internal and external)
