Database Modeller/Information Management Modeller – level 2 Full Time

We are looking for a Database Modeller/Information Management Modeller – level 2 for Health Canada with a Security clearance level of reliability or secret.

The proposed resource must meet the following:

1. The proposed resource has extensive professional work experience within the last ten (10) years performing ALL of the following tasks:

• Analyze proposed changes to databases from the context of Logical Data Models
• Provide technical expertise in the use and optimization of data modeling techniques to team members
• Analyze and evaluate alternative data architecture solutions to meet business problems/requirements to be incorporated into the corporate data architecture

2. The proposed resource has a minimum of two (2) projects within the last ten (10) years performing ALL of the following tasks for a science-based and/or health care sector client:

• Developing and maintaining Architecture and Data Models for corporate and project specific initiatives. This responsibility includes the identification of data most valuable to the department, the integration of this data, and the development of core relating data models
• Comply with corporate data architectures, strategies and frameworks, including enterprise data warehouse activities
• Review corporate architecture strategies and directions, data requirements, and business information needs and devise data structures to support them

3. The proposed resource has:

• Completed a post-secondary education of at least four (4) full-time semesters in either:
  • Computer Science
  • Science
  • Applied Mathematics

Or

• Completed certification for:
  • Google Professional Data Engineer
  • Google Machine Learning Engineer
  • AWS Certified Data Analytics
  • AWS Certified Machine Learning
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate

Candidates with foreign credentials must provide proof of Canadian equivalency.
