Business Transformation Architect – Level 3 (Bilingual) Full Time

We are looking for a Business Transformation Architect – Level 3 (Bilingual) for Shared Services Canada with Security Clearance of Secret.

1. The proposed resource must have a minimum of fifteen  (15) years in architecting, designing, developing specifications for all of the following types in IT Infrastructure and IT service management solutions:

  • IT Infrastructure Facilities Management
  • IT Asset Management (ITAM)
  • Data Centre Relocations
  • Telephony
  • Contact Centers

2. The proposed resource must have a minimum of two (2) project in the last seven (7) years in developing business and technical solutions for a Software as a Service (SaaS) initiative in a high availability (99.999%) service in a Canadian Federal Government Content. This includes:

  • Requirements validation
  • Integrated Solution Design
  • Security Assessment & Authorization
  • Solution Deployment

3. The proposed resource must have a minimum of five (5) years within the last (7) years of experience in delivering and developing business requirements, business requirements traceability matrix, detailed design, transition and training plans as well as concept of operations for a large Federal Government Department or Agency.

Definition

Large Scale is defined at having 6,000+ employees and geographically spanned across 20 locations in Canada.

A Government of Canada client is defined as any Federal Government of Canada Department, Agency of Parliament, Crown Corporation or Tribunal as listed on Schedule I, II, III, IV, V or VI of the Financial Administration Act (http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/f-11//)

4. The Bidder must provide two (2) Project references from two (2) different projects which demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of eight (8) years of experience developing effective framework to analyze and determine a client’s suitability for cloud conversion.

5. The Bidder must provide two (2) Project references from two (2) different projects which demonstrate that the proposed resource has a minimum of five (5) years of experience performing independent reviews of IM/IT projects, as well as participating in the development of RFPs in a Canadian Federal Government Context.
6. The proposed resource must have completed a University Degree or college diploma in a relevant field including Information Technology or Computer Science from a recognized post secondary education program.
7. The proposed resource must have completed all of the following training programs :

  • The Open Group – Master Certified IT Architect
  • ITIL Foundations
